Image created with latest Pi imager and SSH is enabled - Pi Connect works fine
but SSH always says bad password regardless of what I reset it to manually.
What other computer are you using to SSH into the Raspberry Pi? Is it running Windows, MacOS, Linux or something different?
Are both computers on the same network? What SSH command are you using?
I can SSH into PCI-e drive using the M2+ Hat
I am not sure what you mean by this. SSH allows you to get a Secure Shell connection from one computer to another. You can SSH to the local computer, but that may not be really useful. Although, it could be a test. What happens if you use the command "ssh <username>@localhost" in a terminal on you raspberry pi. With <username> replaced with the username you setup for the Raspberry Pi (don't include < or >).
