Did you install ntfs-3g package? Also, I think you need to use additional different command to mount a ntfs drive if you are using a ntfs file system. Check this guide: https://phoenixnap.com/kb/mount-ntfs-linux
ntfs-3g has been part of the default RPiOS instalation for more thanr two years. It has also been superceeded by ntfs3.

Plus, if it was a lack of ntfs drivers the error would be different.
